Red looked over at the girl.
The girl blinked back at him, "....What?"
"Uh...hold on." Red wiped out his poke'gear and quickly selected Blue's number.
"Wow! That was fast!" He cringed at the laughter in her voice.
"This isn't funny Blue. I can barely read the ...most important parts of this letter!"
"Oh?" She cooed from the other end. Was her breathing slightly labored? He wasn't going to think much about it, "Well I believe I made it pretty clear."
"Pretty clear that what?" He saw Auburn turn away, and walk over to a tree--giving them privacy...or some semblance of it. Well that was nice. "That's what I'm asking." He saw Auburn prod at the base of the tree...then kick it with her foot--what?
"Oh that you need to deliver her to Misty, duh." A pause, Red could've sworn he heard a door sliding shut, "She's carrying an Azurill right?"
"Uh...yeah?" He watched her kick the tree again, then drop Azurill on the ground and ask it--"Headbutt!"--what was she doing? The tree branches shook and --something fell out. Oh crap.
"Yeah. Have Misty train her--she might be--"
Red dropped the poke'gear. The heck?!
--"Don't touch it!" Auburn's hand pause right over the strange object. It was a poison barb. He'd recognize it anywhere, "It's poisonous! And I think a Pokemon may have been holding--"
He never got to finish that sentence. Well. At least he was right.
